1. Start a morning ritual. (even if you’re not a morning person)
Even if it’s five minutes, you need a morning ritual. Don’t let the kids or life dictate your day! YOU can set the tone for your day and feel more motivated & empowered with a morning ritual.
2. Organize your closet.
Organizing your closet never ceases to make you feel AMAZING. So, give it a go. We’ll tell you how. It’s not hard and it’s like a free therapy session. Plus you’ll feel like a million bucks every time you get dressed.
3. Do a 30 minute Guided Life Coaching Session.
We’d love to coach you ourselves but we will settle for you taking 30 minutes to yourself and work through this session with us. THIS is self care. Make it happen!
4. Create your Ideal Time schedule so you can make time for what is important instead of constantly being busy.
If you do nothing else this year, do this. It’ll go the furthest in helping you achieve your goals. Ideal Time is about plugging everything important in life in so that you can be present wherever and whenever you are because you know you’ve got everything else covered at some point during the week.
5. Use our exact plan on how to lose weight FOREVER instead of for a few months
Yo-Yo dieting is so old news. Use this step by step process to implement small, scalable habits and changes in your life that will lead to lifelong weight loss.
6. Drink more water.
More water will improve your health in several ways. We get TANGIBLE and TACTICAL with these hacks to drink more water. Pick one to try this week!
7. Use these exact strategies to get more & higher quality sleep.
Okay sleep is tied for budgeting your time for the most important habit / goal you can achieve this year. So, DO IT! We have some easy to implement strategies for you.
8. Meal plan & meal prep.
It doesn’t have to take a lot of time and it doesn’t have to be complicated. But meal planning and meal prepping will save you time, money and calories!
9. Stop being on your phone so much.
This is a big one for everyone. We have lots of little ways you can reduce phone use. You’ll be a happier human if you do, we have the stats to prove it.
10. Create a budget.
You knew this one was coming. A budget helps you make sure all your hopes and dreams are possible. It’s not about restricting you but rather putting what’s most important in front of you and chasing after it relentlessly. For example, if your goal is to travel more this year, a budget will help you! If you want to stress less, a budget will help you!
11. Pick a budget line item to use cash for so you can be more disciplined with your money.
Many of our clients graduate from using cash once they establish some discipline and momentum. But, it’s always a good thing to start with or to go back to if you find yourself slipping into old bad habits or not being as disciplined.
12. Save & set aside your Emergency Fund (we will tell you how & where).
Adulting. That’s what an Emergency Fund is all about and we’re here to help….adulting isn’t always easy or fun. And it certainly didn’t come with a manual. So, this is your manual. Even if you’ve got one, we’ll help you with where to move it.
13. Reduce stress, anxiety & worry with this simple three-step process.
Over and over again it comes true that when you get things out of your head and onto paper you feel better and stop worrying so much. Science has proven it too. Even if you don’t love journaling, you can use bullets, single words even! Give this a try just once and see how it feels.
14. Establish a sinking fund for an important money goal this year.
Whether it’s for Christmas so you can feel more generous and less stressed or if it’s for a new car or a fun vacation, a sinking fund is more adulting. We’ll help.
15. Calculate your own retirement needs (or help your parents).
This doesn’t have to be complicated or painful. But you should know exactly where you’re at and where you want to go. We will help you. It’s simple!
16. Give gifts that don’t cause clutter.
Were you trying to figure out what to do with allllll the Christmas gifts you or your family received this year? Don’t be the person that causes that anymore, we have SO MANY cool ideas for gift giving this year that doesn’t cause clutter.
17. Make healthy lunches easy with our simple adult lunchable “recipe.”
Adult lunchables are sort of sold at Panera and Starbucks. You can make your own, easy peasy, lemon squeezy. Plus, there are even no-cook lunch options!
18. Reduce eating out (because it’s bad for you, doesn’t help you lose weight and is causing inflammation in your poor little belly & intestines).
If you can still afford to eat out, congratulations! It’s so expensive! But it’s also ruining your health. If you want motivation and / or tips on how to stop going to restaurants so much, we’ve got them!
19. Cook using a sheet pan (and have ONE dish to clean!).
You don’t have to slave away in the kitchen. We have recipes that allow you to spend about 5 minutes prepping and 20 minutes cooking that will feed your family MORE than one meal with only ONE dish to clean. It’s a miracle, we know.
20. Eat healthy on a budget (even while food prices keep going up).
Dave Ramsey says rice and beans. We say you do not need to sacrifice your family’s health if you’re on a budget. Here’s how.
21. Organize your house this way so you don’t have to keep redoing it over and over.
Many times professional organizers help you “organize clutter.” That’s why you find yourself right back in the midst of clutter so many times. No bueno! Use our methods to do it once and for all.
22. Calibrate your hunger scale so you can eat like a human again.
Some Americans are afraid of the feeling of hunger. But being hungry is okay! It’s how you know you’ve used the fuel you put into your body! However, if you’re doing the things we mention, you may not ever find yourself feeling hungry. You might’ve messed up your hunger hormones and system so you need to reset it!
