Implement this 4 step system to automate your bills

No one ever grew up saying, “I can’t wait to pay bills.” No, paying bills was one of the worst parts of growing up, right up there with making your own dentist appointments. Contrast that with setting your own bedtime, eating as much junk food as you wanted and sleeping in. That’s what we were all excited about!

Paying bills just isn’t fun.

Paying bills.
Paying bills isn’t fun.

We developed a system for paying bills that is as painless as humanly possible for our clients. And now we’re bringing it to you.

Most people are playing a guessing game with their bills. They’re all over the place with timing, accounts, amounts, payment methods and more. It’s random. It’s unorganized. It’s messy.

It’s time to unsubscribe from that.

Even worse, banks are making billions in overdraft fees every year because you didn’t have enough money in the bank for the $1.99 Google storage fee!

*Banks collected $15.47 billion in 2019 in overdraft and non-sufficient funds (NSF) revenue, according to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB).

It’s time to unsubscribe from that.

One of our clients used to spend every Saturday morning sitting on the back porch trying to figure out her bills. Other clients just spend time stressing all month long about bills. They pay them as they come in while they’re supposed to be working or having family time. You don’t have time or energy for that! They also never truly know how much money they have or can spend while at the store because they don’t know for sure which payments have gone through, which are still processing, and which ones haven’t even hit yet. Does that sound familiar to you?

It’s time to unsubscribe from that.

Stressed about bills.
Don’t stress about bills. Use our system instead.

You may feel like you have bills coming at you from every angle. They can’t remember what is due when. They don’t know which card pays for which bill. They don’t remember passwords. They don’t know how much money they even pay towards bills each month. They don’t really know where their money is going and how much is leftover each month.

It’s time to unsubscribe from that.

We’re going to show you how with our new course coming out next month: “Stress Free Bills.”

For now, we have a quick outline of our system that you can implement right now!

Step 1: Designate.

  • Designate a single account for bills only.
  • Designate a separate account for spending and cash.

Step 2: Set up.

  • List all bills out with due dates and amounts.
  • Deposit a buffer in your bills account.
  • Make sure all income is directly depositing into the bills account.
  • Get a debit card for your bills account.
  • Remove any way to spend money from the bills account.

Step 3: Automate.

  • Ensure each bill is being deducted from the bills account.
  • Set up each bill for automatic payments.
  • Opt for ACH payments when possible.
  • Opt for paperless billing.

Step 4: Supervise.

  • Monitor your account with your checklist.
  • Talk to your spouse or budget partner.
  • Lock the debit card away.
  • Use any overage to put toward your goals as you monitor your budget.
