We’ve heard it asked many times: What’s the difference between a life coach and a good friend? Well, a good friend is irreplaceable. And we’re not hear to doubt how awesome your good friends are.
However, unless your good friend has an established, step-by-step process for getting you results, shows up every week just for you no matter what’s going on in their lives, understood what is going on in your life and in your head, was trained to separate feelings from circumstances, can cut the time it will take to achieve goals, was never judgmental, always confidential, always made you the top priority, never allowed distractions, was trained to see all angles and find blind spots, and had tools to help you overcome stress, anxiety, procrastination, negative self-talk, get motivated and take action it’s not the same. Your friend would also need to have an established system for holding you accountable and overcoming obstacles- and that system would be their top priority and life’s work. Your friend would be specifically motivated to help you transform your finances, health, relationships, career and every other area of life you set goals in.
